Privacy Policy
Last updated: 25 August 2026
Introduction
This policy explains what RHINOVAL.org collects, why, and what you can do about it. It applies to this website only, not to the retail pages our outbound links point to.
Information We Collect
We do not ask you to create an account, and the forms on this site do not deliver to a mailbox. If you type into the contact or newsletter form, the page tells you plainly that the submission did not go through.
Our analytics provider records standard visit data: pages viewed, approximate region, referring site, browser, and device type. This arrives aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Server logs may hold your IP address, request time, and user agent for security and troubleshooting.
Cookies
A first-party cookie remembers whether you dismissed the cookie notice, so it stops reappearing on every page. Analytics cookies measure traffic patterns.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site keeps working without them; the notice will simply return on each visit.
Third-Party Links and Affiliate Tracking
Outbound product links carry an affiliate tag. When you follow one, the retailer may set its own cookie to attribute the visit. That data lives with the retailer under its privacy policy, not ours.
We never receive your name, address, or payment details from a retailer purchase.
How We Use Information
Aggregate traffic data tells us which guides get read and which get skipped, and that shapes what gets written next. We do not sell, rent, or trade visitor data.
Data Security
The site is served over HTTPS. No customer database runs behind it, which removes the most common target: there are no stored orders, passwords, or payment records to breach.
Children's Privacy
This site is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data. A parent or guardian who believes otherwise can contact us and we will delete what we hold.
Your Choices
You can browse with cookies disabled, use browser tracking protection, or opt out of analytics through your browser. None of these limit access to any page here.
Changes to This Policy
Material changes get posted here with a new date at the top. Continued use after that date means you accept the revision.
